There are many ways you can help make a difference in the lives of the ex-racehorses we rescue.
You can volunteer, sponsor a horse, make a donation, adopt a horse, designate us for your Fry's Community Rewards or create a free Facebook fundraiser in our honor.

We hope you will join us in our mission “to protect the legacy of former racehorses through Reconditioning, Retraining, and Re-homing.”
Adopt
If you're interested in adopting one (or two) of our horses into your family, please email us to set up an appointment so you can meet the horses. ​We know they’re looking forward to meeting you too!​

Volunteer
If you’re interested in volunteering, please check out our Volunteer Page where we have all the details and downloadable documents to help you get started.
It’s important to us and to the horses that our team of volunteers use their strength, passion and dedication in caring for these horses as we prepare them for their next career and their forever family.
You’ll be amazed at how quickly you fall in love with these horses as you get to know them. Not only will your service be helpful to ATHA, but it will also positively enhance your own life.
